This morning on the train I encountered some young spastic cerebral palsy adults on their way to some community workshop. I will admit I felt sorry for them. If I had the Power of God I would just reach out and tap each one on the shoulder so that when they awoke tomorrow morning they would be normal.

I saw them on the train this afternoon; laughing and joking, two of them were discussing this weekend’s footy games, two girls were giggling at writing in a folder, a couple was hugging at the back. They always seem happy; they always seem to be friends. True friends; no bullshit between them, no pretence, no lies.

Hmmm, maybe if I had the Power of God I would just reach out and tap each one on the shoulder so that when we awoke tomorrow morning we would be normal like them.
