Sidewalk Apocalypse

Piss ... Over Here
--------
It comes as a whisper along the wall.
A call to ‘prair’ for us all.
A priest head-butts the Wailing Wall.
A nun dressed as a whore waits for her apostle to come to call.
Prophets with spray-cans; decorate the Sistine Hall.
--------
Angels dressed as someone else; now live in an abandon house.
Demons inside the TV scream; with their feeble schemes.
The Devil resides in a luxury car; parked along the boulevard.
Subways to the Styx; the ferry man takes an overseas trip.
--------
They do not understand... With sacred books in hand.
Sermons... burning in a trash can.
All signs of the Apocalypse... for those who have not yet come to grips.
--------
Temptation... an offer to good to refuse, and too late to un-choose.
Expectation... there is no sorrow, when there is no tomorrow.
Revelation... Is standing in the unemployment line.
I guess we’re...
Out Of Time.
