A Train Ride To Visit My Dear
Chonk-Chonk, Chonk-Chonk.
On the train nobody knows my name.
Rain up against the glass; I am here at last.
Slush-slush of my shoes; it is only a short walk listening to the blues.
The piano playing in my head; accompanying everything you said.
I still remember your voice; though sometimes I wish I had another choice.
There is still no other; My Dear.
A lover came; so I had to hide your picture frame.
I don’t want to try to begin again; I already know how that game will end.

I still miss you; My Dear.
Even after all these years; I still want you near.
Sometimes it is hard to see through my tears; since I laid you here.
Fingers turning my golden ring.
Birds chirping in the rain; do you still feel that pain?
I am still standing here; happy birthday My Dear.

Please let me go.
