Forbidden Desire

I adore your every step,

Cherish the words you say,

Try to catch your every breath,

But my passion is driven away.

For I am not yours,

And you not mine,

As fate travels its tragic course,

I'm slowly losing time.

You belong to another,

AndI am left to gaze,

While you have each other,

I'm left alone all my days.

I wish my will was stronger,

So I could forget,

AndperhapsI couldonward,

But i'm imprisoned by regrets.

For once I saw the beauty of your light

Anyone one else pales at their sight.
