Salutations! So, I finally got round to doing this - a fan fiction writing contest for Warlock.

Basically, all you have to do is write a fan fiction short story for the Warlock series. This is mainly set for my current fans, but any newcomers are free to partake. There are some cool prizes I got lined up which I'll list below!

(I'm an artist, so the prizes will include drawing commissions. Check out my Deviantart for examples, the link is on my profile page)

The end date is 30th August.

Name your entries ''Warlock F: ... ''

Please leave the titles of your entries in the comments!

Every competition has rules, right? Of course, so here's the rules for this competition!

1 - You're free to do whatever the heck you want, as long as it relates to the Warlock universe and includes at least one of the characters.

2 - OC's are allowed, so feel free to throw yourself into the fic.

3 - Follow the world's rules. There are some strict guidelines and rules existing within the construction of the Warlock universe. Please don't break or bend any of these rules.

4 - Now, my closest fans and friends know how damn strict I am with this one thing: DO NOT kill Elijah. Yes, that's right, I'm talking to you ANIKAN. That's one thing that cannot be done because of both the world's rules and my own. If you're going to include him in the fic, don't be spiteful.

5 - As I said, you can do whatever you want as long as it's within the guidelines the world has set out. You can use any of the existing characters, new or old. You can kill, destroy, ship, murder - it doesn't matter, just have fun - don't go overboard though... the series is more than just death and despair.

6 - No messing with the Elijah x Kathrina ship. Any other ship can be alternated.

7 - You can enter as many fics as you want. They don't have to be within any length guidelines, make it or them as short/long as you want.

So, you got the rules down, good. Now, here's what I'm looking for - well, this is basically the type of things I'll be judging when I come to picking winners.

Accuracy - with characters and the world. The more accurate you are with portraying whichever of my characters you include, the more accurate the world and its rules are within the fic, the better.

Creativity - Be creative, have fun. Where I already have my strict rules set out, I'd like to see how far someone can stretch those rules. There's always a loophole somewhere, perhaps you can find one? It'll be interesting to see. Implement your own rules if you wish, create new characters, places, species - do whatever you want!

Alternate - There's always the option of creating an alternate ending to something that happened within the series, an alternate outcome.

Humor - That's right, make me laugh. I include a lot of funny, stupid moments within the series, and as much as I love writing them, I'd love to read some from others. So, be funny - this isn't completely necessary, though, so don't feel like you need to force some humor in there.

Yay! Everyone loves prizes!

Okay, so, depending on how many people enter, I'll most like be giving out prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd best entries. Here are the prizes:

1st place - 2 drawing commissions, a feature on my profile page and a read request (I will read and comment on any work you want)

2nd place - 1 drawing commission, a feature on my page and a small read request (I'll read and comment on a chapter, short story or poem)

3rd place - 1 drawing commission and a feature on my page

If you win a read request and I'm already reading your work, then I can replace the request with another drawing.

Have fun and feel free to ask any questions you may have!
