IT'S SCARY BUT HAS A CORNY JOKE AT THE END

THE BEAST

BY: JOYI UZIGAMI

In the woods the

Beast will sleep.

Ready to start his

Frenzy peak.

He wakes from

His deep slumber

As he hears the

Sounds of his lunch

Approaches his territory.

As the person approaches,

He hears the howls of

The beast coming from the

Bushes. The beast’s eyes

Are blazing through your skin like lava.

Slowly, the person backs away but

He gets stuck in a hole and

The beast comes at you from

The bushes with his wings stretches’

Out as he’s getting ready for his

Midnight snacks. The beast

Is staring at you and you’re staring at

It, but all you can do is lay back, stare,

And wait for your fate, as he pounced

On you, you wake up and you realized

It’s just your dog. All you can say is

Boy you sure are THE BEAST.

Haha, sweet! I like it. Just a little hard to read for me, because I'm not used to this kind of style. But it's an interesting idea with the dog!
