The Wind blew strong and it wasn’t long before the air began to swirl,
A Vortex formed as the temperature warmed and the Trees nonchalantly curled
But verve imbued as they tried to eschew the powerful force which was creeping,
Yet a child, with dreams beguiled, lay in the Trees’ Shade sleeping.
She woke distraught, with the wind she fought as she searched for a sturdy shelter,
Her efforts failed. Her hopes unavailed, she scowled at what cruel fate had dealt her.
A Ditch called her and towards it she stirred as the Trees waved to her a farewell,
Just as she ducked the Tornado struck, her old friends it did dispel.
She felt transformed as the tornado stormed and out of the Ditch she peered,
The Storm had gone but destruction it spawned, her eyes watered and Teared.
Puddles that pooled with her had eyes dueled before she drew the conclusion,
That what she saw defied nat’ral law, but, in fact, was not an illusion.
She wasn’t as before, a child no more, her face had taken some age,
Her Frame had shrunk small and her Hair had grown tall, she looked 21 by her gauge.
She surveyed the bane the tornado did stain on her lost hopes and dreams,
She sought to rebuild her once luxurious Guild, upon this task she leaned.
