Joey and I have been friends since kindergarten. My mom invited him over for dinner. After we ate, I showed him to my attic. He was very amazed by a peculiar mirror. I told him that it's a family heirloom. He took a step closer and suddenly, bright lights flashed. I called his name but he didn't answer. I was really worried. Moments later, the lights vanished and I was relieved that he was still there but I noticed something different about him but I just can't put a finger on it. I was just glad he was alright.

When mom called us down, I didn't get the chance to ask him about his experience. He was really quiet. The Joey I know is very curious about things and has a lot to say. It's like this Joey isn't really him. He said he's going home so I walked him out. I waved good by and he turned around and smiled menacingly. I slammed the door and went to the attic. I looked at the mirror and saw my friend trapped inside
