I enter my house feeling as I am a stranger that I am unwelcome. I look around but nothing is different than how I remembered every detail so precise that it scares me. I walk through to bed it was a tiring day and I was exhausted. My boss fired me and I later went to the bar to forget it all just relax. Then suddenly the doorbell rings an odd tune that is unfamiliar to be yet I have been hearing it my whole life. I see a man, my father I immediately invite him in for he was the only thing that was familiar to me. I soon feel anger an impulsing fire in my heart I grab a knife and stab him in his chest and suddenly all my troubles were gone. I felt at rest but I saw that I got a cut. Just a little cut small enough to fit under a band-aid. I then go to sleep feeling comfortable and peaceful. That is when I remember the dream ending. It was so unusual but comforting. I saw that dream as closure for all of the domestic abuse I experienced as a child. My father was a monster. Ever since I remembered he carried a knife and saw fire in his eyes. He once almost killed me this was the same day that my mother was murdered. He was home from work early I was only 5 then and my mother just picked me up from school. He then starts yelling at my mother and she begins to face trauma. It was different from any other fight she always fought back but this time she was as still as stone.
