It is just another Sunday
Just another sermon
Congregation listening
As he preachers God’s good word
A man walks up the aisle
A mane that no one knows
Starts to talk to him
Everything seems fine
Then that man pulls out a gun
And before anyone could move
That first shot was fired
And then the Bible flew
The man took another shot
This time the target was not missed
Falling right down to the ground
Lying dead for all to see
Two men from that congregation
Tried to hold that man down
Saving everyone around them
Even though it meant hurting themselves
Why this tragedy occurred
No one can truly say
But the congregation still listens
As he speaks to their hearts forever
It is just another Sunday
Just another sermon
Congregation listening
As he preachers God’s good word
A man walks up the aisle
A mane that no one knows
Starts to talk to him
Everything seems fine
Then that man pulls out a gun
And before anyone could move
That first shot was fired
And then the Bible flew
The man took another shot
This time the target was not missed
Falling right down to the ground
Lying dead for all to see
Two men from that congregation
Tried to hold that man down
Saving everyone around them
Even though it meant hurting themselves
Why this tragedy occurred
No one can truly say
But the congregation still listens
As he speaks to their hearts forever
