These are just general feelings as of late.

- J.Somerville

You look at me with a blank expression,

Those eyes swell with disapointment,

Your pretty face contorts with contempt.

Thoughts are swirling and racing round my heavy head.

Am I wrong? Am I angry? Am I who I think I Am?

I settled upon, I'm not who they want me to be.

I try,try and try again, I tried back then.

I hand them the envelope while I make their supper,

Sadly its not their last.

My eyes and face could not swell or contort.

I kick, I scream! The man in the mirror whispers,

I told you so... As they say, you could do so much better.

This was good. I've never read something in this set-up before, really. But good job(:

Wow! Very well written, and it almost gives me the idea of back and forth, just lashing out.

"I settled upon, I'm not who they want me to be."

I love that line, I think it is the most honest and raw, like a deep breath right when you give up. Not sure, but this was very good.

Well thank you very much, it is much as you describe, and if your not sure, its because generally, i like to write these things and see what other people think themselves...mystery is good.

I just re-read this, and almost have a different interpretation. I really do love this quite a bit. Still one of my favorites of yours, but it is also the most confusing to me. Maybe that is why I like it so much. Ah! Love it. :)
