Where were you when I needed you
when I was crying on the floor?
Where were you when I called for you
when I wanted to hear your voice?
Where were you when I got hurt
playing with my cousins?
Where were you when I needed to be held
when I was upset?
Where were you when I was depressed
when I needed a smile?
You weren’t there when I cried or called for you.
You weren’t there when I needed you the most.
You weren’t there when i had nightmares late at night.
Or wheni needed my family the most.
Now for years you haven’t been here and I realized
I didn’t need you then and I don’t need you now.
