How can I resist this brunet guy with expressive hazel eyes? Who could've thought what's supposed to be a simple chat turns out to be an online affair? Exchanging messages is our everyday routine. We talk everyday... see each other everyday... meet every now and then... in front of the computer screen. Is real romance possible between two persons who are thousands of miles apart? Will I ever have a chance to meet him for real? I chose this. Long distance affair. Long distance online relationship with my British boyfriend.

"I don't want a real boyfriend. I won't invest my feelings just to be hurt again."
- Sophie

"I don't want to date. I didn't fall for other women because I'm reserving myself for Sarah. Just her." -Andy

Chapter One

"When you were in a long-distance relationship, of course you made the most of the time you were together. But sometimes, it was the unexpected that really made the difference. The unexpected emotions you were hit with when you saw that face, looked into those eyes, felt those lips. The unexpected reminder of why you fell in love with this person could hit you so powerfully. And this was that time." ? Alice Clayton, Rusty Nailed

"My Online British Boyfriend" is currently in the works. I am hoping to make this your not so typical LDR relationship girl meets boy in an online dating site. As we get to know Sophie and Andy, we are crossing our fingers that they'll make things work while they are dealing a completely different world from the other person. As to what Sophie says in the book cover, "You're near yet so far...", Andy just just sits in front of her, "on the opposite side" of the computer screen... on the other side of the world. That idea makes her feel that Andy is just near, yet in reality he's thousands of miles out of reach for her to touch. Quoting Andy's "Believe me, this is real..." brings a kind of promise to any girl that this is worth taking a chance on, and distance can do strange things.

Thank you for taking a chance to read my book. Please bare with me for some typo and grammatical errors which I may have been missed, as most of the time I am just using my mobile phone in composing these chapters. I'm an amateur writer who just writes during my spare time, so I am happy to hear some feed backs, suggestions and constructive criticisms I believe would improve my writing technically and creatively.
