I LOVE YOU

did i mention that

oh dear, got lost in the wind

the shouting, the screaming, the slamming down of the phone

you didn't know did you

i can sort of tell that

**

You look embarassed

i almost want to apologise

but hey i've lived with it so long

my own rash on my heart

no cure really

irritating, unmoveable thing

scraping along, clouding my eyes

to your bad side

forgiveness always a nudge away

**

you are gone again

and i will miss you

yearn for you in ways that will embarass you more

your breath leaving your body on a sigh

the fringe of your eyelashes whispering across your cheeks

your large naked form, uncoiled and ready spread across the bed

covering your eyes cause you hate the light even in the day

your clumsy many fingered hugs

your eyes...oh how i shall miss your eyes

**

i will live a thousand years here

waiting for you to return just to glimpse

your soft beautiful sparkling eyes

and know that i was something

never sure what

in those eyes

**

i will love again

i always do

and move on

from me and you

to something new

but i will never forget you

**

love again,

me
