This is an old poem I wrote back in high school, it is a popular poem among my friends on Mindless Banter on InvisionFree. It is about the hourglass on the blackwidow spider and the forces of action and reaction.

Red on Black by Joseph D. Smith
Red and black,
The most common colors of blood and death are upon us.
The color of red would represent the bloodshed from a wound from a knife or dagger,
And the color black may represent death and/or fatality.
We cannot escape the forces of action and reaction,
For it will always be there..
