Poisonous doubt spreads like icy fire,

Grief and regret intertwining like snakes.

Thoughts dark as night, the serpents inspire

The face of the fighter cracks and brakes.

To be deaf or mute is no different

To fall on deaf ears, one and the same

The glory of silence, benevolant

The question of where to place blame.

Dreams shatter,, ambitions wilt
A dying flower weighed down with guilt.
