The mist cleared for a moment

And as if a dull  curtain

Had been lifted by unseen hands

the sun danced onto the stage.

Magical was the transformation.

Th hills seemed literally

To glaw with life. Golden bubbles

Of birdsong rose from the meadow.

Trees held out their arms

In exulaion. Pure cosmic joy.

Mother Nature crying out:

'Look at me! Look at me!

(tge poet, however, was too hungover to notice).
