As the wounded die

Bang of the gun whistle of the bullet

the splatter of pellets in the air

the screaming and yelling

the whirring of choppers above raining hell on the enemies below

so many bodies so much blood

explosions of grenades and crashing of planes

the screeching of the brakes as trucks pull

up soldiers get off wounded get on

there’s bomb in the back about to explode

the wounded men won’t make it home
