You told me that you loved me,

and that no one else would do.

But still you left, like all the rest;

so I guess that wasn't true.

Don't get me wrong,

I don't want you back-

I'm as happy as could be.

In fact, i feel like

I have just been set free.

I don't miss your laughter,

I don't miss your warmth;

Don't worry about me, darling-

I am happy on my own.

I don't crave your kisses,

I don't crave your touch;

Thinking of you doesn't

send an arrow through my heart.

I would never ring you

just so I can hear your voice.

The umbrella you found that rainy day,

really wasn't mine.

Of course you can have the ring back,

I don't need it anymore-

I just hope you'll give it to

Someone who loves you.

I'm not crying, baby;

These are just rain drops on my face-

I misplaced my umbrella,

one cold, rainy day.
