You see my smile, but I hate to say I faked it.

You see my laugh, but I hate to say I was crying.

You see my eyes sparkle, that was from the tears.

I'm used to you by now.

The lies just suffocate me.

You say:

"I love you."

I say:

"Yeah Right."

You Say:

"I care."

I say:

"Why Lie?"

This bitter epiphany can't cover it up.

I just can't show you how much I hurt.

I smile to make you die inside.

I laugh to make you cry inside.

Why do I even try anymore?

The emphasis is on anger.

The worship is on lies.

The love is for you.

Get used to it.

We're through.
