Please, I Beg.

Based on "Hold On Till May" by Pierce The Veil

Please, I beg, don't close the door.

Or leave this subject untouched once more.

It's the same plague that destroys you to the core.

And gets you prepared to go to war.

Please, I beg, don't cry.

Or shout then dry your eyes.

It's the same plague that makes you continue to lie.

About not wanting to say goodbye.

Please, I beg, don't scream.

Someday you'll wake up from this dream,

And your sanity won't be teared at the seams.

Possibly your dignity won't be carried by the stream.

Please, I beg, don't give up.

Thank you for inviting me to read. I enjoyed this. May I suggest though, 'teared' should be 'torn'. It would also help the flow of the poem.
