About my daily struggle with anorexia.

You tell me lies,

These lies feed my eyes,

My stomach growls seeking attention,

Everyone stares,

I am givin' glares,

Not sure what to do anymore.

It's time for lunch,

I have to hunch,

Thoughts in my mind telling me not to eat,

I rise to my feet,

Feeling dizzy at most,

I am bony like a ghost.

I chew my food,

Trying not to think of it going straight to my thighs,

I just want to hide,

I want to feel empty inside,

Need to feel my bone.

It's a repeating cycle,

Worse each day,

When will the sun shine for me?

This is touching and I worry for your safety. I hope you find some help soon and begin to recover. On a lighter note, this poem was great and I hope you read my poem too "Freedom at last"

I am glad your best friend is kind enough to find you help, I hope she sticks by your side all the way through and I hope you do the same if she ever needs your help. Also the recovery process will be slow, but in the end it will be worth it :) I wish you good luck, with both your writing and your issue.

This is really good, but I hate that it comes from something so terrible... I hope you get help soon. No one deserves to feel like that.

Been out to the country

just to visit like I vowed

Rough miles you have traveled

I know your resting now

Endless miles are still ahead

before I'm ready for my sleep

Now lost without you here

to climb these mountains steep

Days in and out

so lonely since you parted

Angels came to take you

now I'm so broken hearted

Forever came to early

time ran out for you here

Always will I love you

And when my time draws near

Yonder up in heaven meet

Where never we shall know

Endless miles from the others reach

On those streets of gold

This was written for my son's and daughter's mother who died in 1995 because her heart gave out on her due to complications from anorexia nervosa. Let love conquer all, before death becomes the victor.
This, your story is very touching. May you overcome this with the help of many true family members and friends.
