She could barely walk,

She could barely talk.

As her soul roamed through the field,

Tired as can be,

The warm flowers slowly lost their glee.

No one noticed,

No one cared.

The only attention she got,

Was from the flowers who only stared.

Her eyes morbid,

Her legs exhausted.

From carrying herself this far.

Haltingly her hope disappeared,

A look at her scarred arms,

Most people barely cared.

But the flowers wept at her narcoleptic soul that,

Gently laid to rest,

In the field of mourning flowers with an overcast of bright shining gold.
