I wrote this in an empty state a few years ago. In my life there had been only a few people who showed me unconditional love. The type of love where it's honest and innocent and a couple of those people are no longer in my life for whatever circumstances and I miss that type of love and this poem expresses the feelings I have about it.

Sitting in a crowded room, I see them, I hear them, but I was never there

My soul gone feeling so numb, I 'm watching a movie as I sit and stare

Watching a movie day in and day out

As I sit in the theatre I'm the only one rewinding and playing, as my body reminisces of the bliss it once found

My body speaks as it argues with my brain

Why, why I won't let go I'll never let go living in a brick wall of pain

The world saying I have to move on when all I can feel is his face

My body stuck in the past as I try to move forward in this place

Constant turmoil, everyone's crap surrounding me as I only want just one thing

Selfishness, jealousies with each and every cut, loss, insecurities latley thats all people seem to bring

Being apart of this world is a constant job and I'm not getting paid a damn thing

But when the sun goes down and I'm all by myself in the dark I'm still a human being

People rushing, lying, the unspoken statement in their eyes they really don't have to say a thing

The atomsphere so moist as I'm a sponge I have to constantly squeeze

Sometimes I only wish Icould be a stranger

Feeling sooo much I would have more peace as people wouldn't bother

In this life there are so many things for it to never be only simple

Just to quit, delete, cut off completely my soul would be crippled

Selfishness, jealousies with each and every cut, loss, insecurities latley thats all people seem to bring

As I'm alone in the theatre watching my movie I'm achingly longing for only just one thing
