The Light of Love  By: J. L. Moreaux

Within one's eye's there is a glimmer;
A deep heat that wells within;
A heat that seems to simmer.

Saturated within the light
It moves slow as the internal clock ticks by;
As a cloud on the summers eve
Concentration enough to make one cry.

A love of life,
A love of tears?
Why such strife?
Why such fears?

These fears lead into cheers
They take us to higher ground;
It shows us a sound
With content so warm; yet from jeers.

A look in the eye
Shows us why;
We need to feel inside
The light of love is awry.

But a glimpse is enough
To show its rough
But a glimpse is tough
Is it enough?
