In these dark streets we lose our souls
We can look around and see the holes
The drunk teens running late at night
The druggies, whores, the hobos under street lights

In these dark streets we destroy ourselves
With no hope of freedom to escape this hell
We pray to a god to save these streets
Where hate rises and broken hearts beat

In these dark streets with no holds barred
We see the past that left us scarred
The gangs, the violence, the death all around
Is there no place to be safe and sound

In these dark streets we destroy ourselves
With no hope of freedom to escape this hell
We pray to a god to save these streets
Where hate rises and broken hearts beat
