I wrote this poem out of pain, tears, and worry over finally losing my closest friend. This poem is very dear to me and hope it can open your heart a bit to how the world can be.

Holding On

I'm not letting go,
Of this friendship rope,
Until you say so.

This little rope,
becoming weaker every day,
represents our friendship,
thats slowly fading away.

You keep on cutting this special bond,
closer and closer to the end.

But one day it will be gone,
With no way to make it mend.

I keep trying to open your eyes,
To all the facts;
That Im losing you to that,
Bixtchy brat.

I have tried pleading and begging,
once before.

Nothing happened,
So I'm letting you go,
Day by day,
Moment by moment.

Our memories are losing,
The meanings they once had.

Our laughs and smiles,
slowly fade away.

Once and for all,
I'll be gripping this rope,
That represents our bond,
And I won't ever let go,
Until it's been cut at by the throat.

That sisterly bond,
We once said was forever,
Is almost gone,
And soon it won't ever mend together.
