The birds would chirp at six AM
The morning dew, the morning wind
The morning win, the morning's in
The morning song, the morning sin
She was never spring time weather
Mostly summer's rain, the drain I remember
The trickling pain slain by my window pane
Forecasting a residue, leaving me partly stained
And these rain drops I've grown to persistently claim
Make up for the tears I couldn't see her to shame
Grasping love, the sky above once held our hearts up high
But now we're falling for the breakage, lord knows I tried
Now distance separates the tears that we cry
Reprimands on the times that we didn't see eye to eye
My thunderous calls transpires frantic weather
I'll remember her as summer's rain, and I will claim her forever!
