Narnia Poem: The Bell
When the metal is struck,
All will be fine,
Until the queen in her chair
Arises in time;
The boy shall be summoned,
A girl of the same too,
And with the bell in mind,
The boy would strike the desolate tome,
A cry so harsh to turn away,
Yet evil and terrible to consume,
So not only would he hurt his own self,
But he would impend doom on everyone else;
Yet in the same way,
When men fall at first,
For there was a time on the sunken Earth,
When no spring or summer lie,
So that winter never said good-bye;
And in that course of time that had past
Was a girl in the wood,
The queen at last.
