Set Me Free

The door was open

The entire time

It never was once locked

I decided to depend on you

And ignored all that

I've got

But you were my weakness

That crippling smile

That brought me

To my knees

A kiss to make a saint

Of the darkest devil

And adorable eyes

When you would plea

But I've learned my lesson

Overcome my weakness

Love's not supposed to

Keep me tied

So like a caged bird

With the door unlocked

I'm stepping out to fly
