Destroyed and depleted, devoid and warped,
but he still walks with a purpose. I see no interest in him,
for he has nothing interesting to say,
but he still smiles at me with grace.
Possibly needs a friend for he is old and lonely,
but I have no time to waste on common folks.
No time to give him, I have no time for the old man.

The bus pulled up and sitting on the bench waiting was an old man,
he was not the same old man I saw before
but he likely had the same regurgitating dispensible old life.
So I have no time for the old man.

When again, I was waiting for the bus to arrive,
only this time I was alone. I was alone!
