Found this from an anthology I did during middle school. I'd say it's pretty alright for an 11 year old. (:

Streaks

A hand strikes across her face in anger and frustration.

She takes it like she always has; still through the duration

Yet tears don't streak down her cheeks.

Rough fingers tug her curls back violently.

She stares ahead vacant and blandly.

Yet tears don't streak down her cheeks.

He harrasses her about her beauty and smarts.

She is intelligent, and he doesn't see he's breaking her heart.

Yet tears don't streak down her cheeks.

The pain leaves invisible scars along with the visable.

She silently wishes away his evil.

Yet tears don't streak down her cheeks.

So why does it hurt her the most of all

When some silly boy says he doesn't care at all ?

Now, tears streak down her cheeks
