You sit there asking yourself "why me?"

You look around, people passing by, giving you dirty looks.

You wish you could go back before mistakes were made.

I'm not giving up, you think.

I'm going to keep fighting until I win.

Your up every night, thinking it's the end.

You wake up in the morning relieved, yet unsatisfied.

You wish it would all be over; you remain optimistic.

You wait there for days, and nights, pointing out the constellations, sitting in the rain.

Your love comes, and steals you from the streets, saving you.
