The whole moral of this poem is to never leave the one you love for the one you like, because the one you like might leave you for the one they love.

You fell back in the cracks and crevices as I pushed you away from me, knowing you wasn't the one for me ...

I stopped.

Stopped because I knew what I was doing, I was falling in your tracks. I don't want you back ...

So I dropped.

Dropped to the floor, emotional breakdown taking over, I can't take it anymore.

Tick tock, like the clock ...

Time is running out, you know what you're about, and it's over. There I go to cry and smother.

But eventually, I found another.

He watched me fall back in the cracks and crevices as he pushed me away from him.

... I knew I wasn't the one for him.
