I knew not what hurt is

'I am taking you out

See you sharp five.Be dressed.Bye baby.'

Today he means it,no doubt

I cameout alive.Oh.!that's my hubby

Excitement surcharged I bedecked like never before

As last touch I rouged and sat eyes fixed on the door.

I waited,waited and...........................................waited

No longer I felt delighted

My spirits far from elated,

Myself now I hated.

Bangles clinked,New silk rusted

At the ceilings I blinked, very much puzzled,

glossy lips,fastened clips

Invain have gone the beauty tips

I fret and fume at the sweet perfume

My painted nails,Oh! My heart fails

Twinkle in the eye has gone

Sad things to speak goes on and on

I had worn fresh flowers

Only to wither away

I'd waited for hours

It's the end of another day

I knew not what hurt is, till you taught me.
