ZeroG57's Contest Poem

It weighs

Like a blaze

Causing me a craze

As I search for my praise

Praise lies in my father's hand

No man's land

I face his conviction

My affliction

Sweat stings my palm

What of my peeping tom

Does dad care

Or will I face his hatred filled stare

I've been judged by default

Causing me a halt

My world weighs down

To pieces it falls all round

I cannot carry both of our pieces

Affliction increases

Once again I face his glare

Not hatred in his stare

I find distaste

My heart at waste

As the heart dies

It is then I look to the skies
