Missing

Where has the word real gone to?

For me, real was you and the world I wanted us to share

Real was the flame in the dark,
flickering only when it doubted its own light

For me, real was unknown
an uncharted place we all sought to go

I did not care, who made it there; as long as I went with you

But that's over now, it’s been defined, the place I sought to seek
and it is not a world I would wish to be

Where do we go now, when plans made have now been lost?

Will you still want me,
If I have no idea how to maintain stability now that I've lost reality?

If all that's left is to give up, what am I supposed to give?
