Summary

I have people that belive I have the gift of foresight. It has proven true and isn't some case of advance female intuition. You don't have to believe me, I'm just stating the truth.

This thing, is my gift and curse...for now.

The Present

I was given a gift
(it was a curse intricately wrapped)
of foresight and past light
(images I didn't want to see)

I had it bound so decisively
(until I made a prediction)

In 3 days this would end,
you would never hold my hand again

What lasted a week is now overdue
in the end you said we were through

I suffered a night
(in four hours I had five)
dancing black waves visited my dream waves
(probing me for news of upcoming days)

I paid the price, this will suffice
I will go riding again tonight.
