Time to face the truth, once the dead die, no one really is saddened by dying just wishing that they could join them.

Inspired by the actual song "There's No Sympathy for the Dead" by Escape the Fate.

Isn't really a poem but I'm taking on new style aspects so still counts.

damn straight.

there's no sympathy for the dead.

go ahead, claim you're empathetic.

but be ready for my call, the priest and doctor will see you shortly.

with the exorcism done and you're schizophrenia diagnosed

i'm gonna say it again.

there's no sympathy for the dead.

after all they lived their lives

so why should you pity that which has come and gone?

you're gonna claim you can't touch what isn't real

and i say to you,

you're an idiot.

step out of your comformist box for once.

greet a ghost and cop a feel.

cause i've got sympathy for the dead as well as envy.

i wish i was one of them.
