I am invisible to mortal eyes,

Drifting around them like ghost,

I listen in anguish to their desperate cries,

The sound is the thing I hate the most,

For them I do not exist,

I am the mystery of all time,

Tearing through the fog and mist,

At midnight on the twelth chime,

I bceome my victim's reality,

His last word is barely heard,

I slay worshippers of vanity,

The thing that's caused the vision of purity to be blurred,

My victim calls me a monster, and he is right,

I start to fade again,

Trying to hold on with all my might,

I know I shall return, but when?
