Loneliness is always countered by something that is constant, like the rain or like trees :)

It's so quiet here,

Yet so loud as well,

Not a whisper of a human sound,

So quiet, yet so loud.

The rain is falling around me,

Yet not a single drop touches,

No sign of another human,

Everywhere, but nowhere.

The trees are here too,

Oh, how I love the trees,

Essential to life, yet they are living,

We rely on each other, but there's little trust.

It's peaceful in here,

The rain falling down,

Not another person or animal in sight,

So peaceful, so lonely.

The ever falling rain,

It keeps me from insanity,

I hate how cold and wet it is,

Yet I plead, keep falling.
