Stuck in the darkness

Inside your own mind

Trapped like an animal

Screaming until it is painful

Then screaming longer than that

That's what life is really like.

Trapped all alone in the darkness

Mental torture from your peers

Struggling on for no reason

Facing oppression and depression

In quick succession

With no pause in between to breathe

People say there is always a happy ending

But death is no happy ending

To an even more unhappy story

That goes on and on for years

And even though there is no one to hear me

This is my cry for help.
