It's a lesson that we must learn and develop that nature teaches us and also because it is Earth day. Happy Earth day to all and God bless you.

The Life of a Forest

The forest shivers from the cold night,

The light of the moon shines from above.

The tress whisper,

'Brother of the sky, warm us all!'

The sun rises over the mountains,

Melting away the white blanket that covered the trees.

The breeze of spring aided the forest,

The wind swayed the trees gently.

The flowers bloom so brightly,

The vines growing around the tree tightly.

Strange black clouds begin to form,

A storm of flames bursts into the forest.

The trees helplessly fall to the ground,

The flames surround the forest,

What to do?

The forest is no more,

Burnt to the ground.

The forest has turned black of despair,

What a horrific view!

The sky looks down at the forest and whispers,

'Brother Earth, do not fear,'

'For brother Sun and I hear you'

The sky begins to cry,

A tiny dry seed begins to spread it's roots.

The sun begins to shine,

The seed grows rapidly into a tree.

The forest grows back,

Leaving no dead trees behind,

The forest whispers,

'Thank you, brother Sun and brother Sky'

'For I will bring back the living things that were left behind'

The wind gently sways the trees,

The flowers blooming more brightly than ever.

The forest is happy once again.

The fire had gained nothing, but anger

The forest had gained back it's life.
