to a dad, from a daughter who just wants to make ammends, despite the bad blood, and the hurt they both feel.

Is it too late for us?

Under these circumstances, is this okay?

Or is this just something that isn’t ever going to work?

Wishful thinking.

That’s what I come to the conclusion every day.

Do I tell you how I feel?

Failing is what I’m afraid of.

“One day at a time,” is what they tell me.

Most are wrong though.

“Today's” are always the hardest.

Hate in my heart seems to consume me.

Mistakes are becoming more regular.

Running away isn’t something new.

Now what do I do?

Dad, all I wanted was for you to love me.

Mistakes are becoming regular for the two of us.

Under these circumstances, we’re both being stubborn.

Saddened by the past two years,

You’re the one person I want to be able to talk with.

We used to be happy.

Hope is all I have now.

No more excuses,

Except that I miss you, and I love you infinitively
