I lie curled up,
as in a mothers womb,
blood drowning my soul,
trembling in intense pain.
My head is numb with the wounds.
My vision is getting hazy,
yet sudden flashbacks hit me so clear,
of our moments together,
and the promises you made,
promises that disappear with every last breath of mine.
I see you walk away from me,
quiet in the nights silence.
My wounds don't hurt me anymore,
its just your deadly deceit,
that is flaming my agony.
Suddenly I want to be a child again,
naive and unharmed.
Running and playing for hours,
giggling away moments of joy.
But I am helpless now,
helpless as a new born.
Tears of blood drip off my cheeks,
I see your face again,
moments before I slip away,
into the world unknown.
