Born from dust,
just like the world,
I feel my heart beating,
then why am I an alien?

Was tainted young,
left to be alone,
now singing melodies,
as I watch my life cave in.

Strike my temples electric,
beat me to the ground,
shake the demons off me,
and make your deity proud.

Mountain men,
please don't gang up on me,
the echoes of your laughs,
do nothing for my self esteem.

I walk alone, I am alone,
still waiting for love,
the love I am fighting for,
the love you hate me for.

I see colours,
I know I can laugh,
blood drips from my wounds,
then how am I an alien?

This is my world too,
my home, my mother, my love.
I opened my eyes to this canvas,
then how am I an alien?
