Forever is the same as never

I hate that word forever,

Don’t say it if you don’t mean it forever,

Does I love you mean forever.

Forever is just the same as never.

Are you with that man I hate?

The one with the clean slate.

I should be next to you on your big day,

I'm now on an invitation and its saying my full name.

Dear once was and will never be again,

You left your baggage outside, next to your dead end.

My parents said forever,

Look at them now.

Forever changes like the weather.

Who pays the bills, who keeps the house.

Did you see that coming?

No, never.

Goodbye, that’s all you said,

I suppose it’s easier to forget when it’s a bitter end.

You did this, I did that

I don’t give a shit about that.

I love you and you love me,

Why can’t it be that easy?

I'll be on my own, here, or wherever,

I don’t believe in love,

I hate that word forever.
