One day, in the 8th grade, I had the worst day ever. At the start of the day, my alarm did not go off.  I said to myself, “This is going to be the worst day ever.” I had a lot of bad stuff happen to me on my worst day ever.

At first because my alarm did not go off, I had to rush to get ready. Since I was rushing to get ready, I forgot to eat breakfast and left a bunch of things I needed by the door. The bunch of stuff by the door included my trumpet and my lunch. I rushed out the door and locked up the house. I saw the bus leaving from the stop. I quickly ran down the hill after the bus, but it did not stop. They must not have seen me. My parents had already left the house, so I could not get a ride with them. I had to walk to school, which is fairly impossible since there are no sidewalks.

In the morning, Mrs. Owens would not get my last name right. She kept saying Crispi instead of Crespi. On my way to class, I slipped in the hall and got a huge bruise on my elbow. I was acting all goofy during Language Arts and Ms. Poe called me a blonde and moved my seat while giving me a NOM.  When I was on a locker break, the person above me kept dropping their books on my head, which caused a big bump.

My worst day ever did not stop after Connections. I got a D on a Social Studies test that I worked really hard on. I also forgot my math book and I could not go get it because I already used my green card. There was a spider crawling on me in Science and I freaked out. Mr. Wagoner yelled at me for disrupting class. Since I left my trumpet at home, in band Mrs. Jones yelled at me.

When I got home, I realized I did not have my purse. I had left it at school, along with my phone. My house key was in my purse. I decided to go to my friend, Kayla’s, house to use her phone. I was able to get ahold of my parents, (that’s one good thing that happened to me today), and my mom told me where the spare key was. I was able to find it, as easy as pie, and I decided to go for a bike ride. That was a bad idea because as I was going down the hill, my bike hit a bump and sent me flying like an airplane. I ended up breaking my leg and getting a huge scrape on my shin.

I did end up having the worst day ever. Even though I had really bad stuff happen to me, I learned a valuable lesson. You always need to make sure your alarm is set. Otherwise, you are going to have a very bad day.
