Hail to the Hidden Truth
Beneath the smile tears
fall from a shattered soul
tears
like a pure
cleansing of rain,
washing
in every hurt,
stitching emotions like sharp
small needles.
A fear thrusts
its painful cry
deep into an empty heart.
Life is
a delicate leaf cracked
with age.
