THis Poem is about my daughters struggle to cope with Cystic Fibroses.

THE GIRL WHO COULDN’T BREATH

I lay here gasping for air

People come and go

When will they see?

The monsters in my head

When would they see?

I just want to breathe

I hate that stupid neb

And all the silly meds

When would they see?

I just want to breathe

I hate my stupid life

Everyday and night

When would they see?

I just want to breathe

I hate my stupid neb

And all my silly meds

The monsters in my head

When would they see?

I just want to breathe

Breathe, breathe, breathe

Just breathe, just breathe

Cystic Fibrosis has taken my life

I can’t breathe like this

When will they see?

I just want to breathe

I just want to run and play and have fun all day

Why can’t they see? The life that I have

Is not the one for me

I just want to breathe to live my life the way I like

And just breathe in this life.

I really liked this. I especially liked the repitition which I think emphasised the want yet inability to breathe, and for everyone to 'see'. Great poem :)
